These are brief (usually around 15-20 minutes long) and powerful personal stories of people from around the world. This particular episode is especially fascinating. It was released earlier this month and completely blew my mind. Follow Stephanie Summerville as she relays her story of finding herself in the horrifying position of caring for a member of the Klu Klux Klan.

I was struck by her composure at such a young age, not to mention the compassion she exuded under such circumstances. A beautiful story of humans at their worst and their best.

Growing up in the south, I never encountered the Klu Klux Klan. I'm not saying it wasn't there. I'm sure it was. I was blessed to never know of anyone openly participating or any activity in my town. All the same, it is a part of our history that is shameful on so many levels. That only serves to make this story all the more beautiful.
