Back when I did freelance work for publications around the state, I had the opportunity to do several assignments for a new magazine, SC Alive. Though it's no longer in publication, it was still a fun experience.
PS- I still have Dottie Franks phone number saved in my phone. I can't seem to make myself get rid of it. I don't even know if it works anymore or, if it does, who would even answer.
